Building a Text-to-Speech SaaS Used by 400+ People
Visit Live Site ↗The Challenge
People need to listen to articles, documents, and study materials — but most text-to-speech tools are clunky, buried in accessibility settings, or locked behind expensive subscriptions. I wanted to build something simple: paste your text, pick a voice, and listen.
What I Built
Reazy is a full-stack web app where users can convert any text to natural-sounding speech. The core experience is fast — paste text, choose a voice, and hit play. Users can also download audio files for offline listening.
- User accounts with authentication and saved history
- Stripe integration for subscription payments
- Multiple AI voice options with preview playback
- Audio download in standard formats
The Result
Reazy has grown to 400+ users across the web app, Chrome extension, and Android app. It processes thousands of text-to-speech conversions and generates recurring revenue through Stripe subscriptions.
The web app is the core of the product — it's where most users land, subscribe, and stick around.
